I CHALLENGE MS: INSURANCE NEEDS

Per the MS Society’s policy, the MS Society’s insurance does not extend to I Challenge MS events. However, PAL Canada has provided affordable insurance coverage options for the most common I Challenge MS fundraisers.*

Party Alcohol Liability: This policy provides general liability and host liquor liability for reception-style events that fall within the liquor permit hours stated on the required liquor permit, not including set up or take down. (These hours vary in each province but are the legal sale and consumption hours set out by the liquor and gaming board of each province). This Policy is not meant for sporting events or events with live entertainment (DJs are okay). *This policy can be bound online with immediate issuance.

Special Event Liability: This policy will provide general liability, with the option of host liquor liability extension, for an event . The general liability can extend anytime, ie for set up and take down/clean up, but liquor will be restricted to hours listed on the liquor permit. Sporting events and events with live entertainment are to be submitted under this policy. *This policy requires submission for review by a PAL Underwriter.

Performer Liability: This Policy will provide general liability and property coverage for someone volunteering or being hired by the event host to perform/participate in their event. *This policy is either bound online or is submitted for review by a PAL Underwriter depending on the performance type.

Exhibitor Liability: This Policy will provide general liability with the option to add property coverage for setting up a booth or table at another event or venue (trade shows, markets, etc). *This Policy is either bound online or is submitted for review by a PAL Underwriter depending on the coverage limit/option they choose.
