BCY WAMS Darcie Kevin James Darcie and Kevin James are a husband and wife who live in Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island. Darcie was diagnosed with MS in 2001, just four months after her and Kevin were married. MS has greatly impacted their life but their outlook has remained positive. Fueled by his love for his wife and his passion to make a difference for her and others with MS, Kevin got involved shortly after Darcie’s diagnosis in various community events with the MS Society on Vancouver Island.

In 2006, Kevin formed his own soccer inspired event to raise funds for MS called MS Kick for the Cure, with friend Mike Williams. To date the annual event has raised over $500,000. Kevin has generated a great team camaraderie by forming a highly successful team who participated in the Cowichan Valley MS Bike every year, known as the infamous team Woop De Woo. Both Darcie and Kevin have participated in the MS Walk in Duncan for many years too.

Over the last 17 years, they have raised funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis research, programs and services, and inspired their community in the Cowichan Valley to support their cause. They are truly MS Champions and we thank them for your on-going support in helping to raise funds towards a future without MS.
