MS is a nasty disease, typically manifesting when people are in their primes, and Canada has the highest rate of it in the world. The symptoms are unpredictable and vary greatly from person to person, and even from time to time in the same person; they include extreme fatigue, lack of coordination, weakness, tingling, impaired sensation, vision problems, and more.
But thanks to donations like yours, progress continues to be made and outcomes have been improving. Proceeds from this event and others like it are used to provide support and services to help those living with MS, and to fund research into finding its cause and cure.
By sponsoring me, you can make a very real difference in the life of someone with MS. Please give generously. Thank you.
P.S. for those of you keeping track, this will be my 30th year riding and fundraising to help the MS Society combat Multiple Sclerosis, and yes, I still intend to ride the 40km to the start in Metcalfe.
