Thanks for coming to my personal page.
Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. My sister-in-law Sue was diagnosed with it in the 1960’s, and our daughter Caroline in 2017.
There is still no cure for MS. However, medical research has led to major advances in the management and treatment. Research like this requires lots of funding, much of which comes from the MS Society of Canada.
Last year I decided to do what I could to raise money for MS. Because I love to cycle, I signed up for the PwC MS Bike Ride.
It was a 2 day event, which went from Grand Bend to London on Saturday and back to Grand Bend the next day (a total of over 150 km). It was a fun ride through the rolling farmland of Southern Ontario. I even got to stay overnight in one of Western University’s residences.
Thanks to my donors, I raised over $8,000. The total amount raised for the MS Society was $1.6 million.
This year I set an arbitrary goal of $10,000 and much to my surprise that target was surpassed within 2 weeks.
Based on that response, I am sure there are many more donors who want to help in this fight to end MS.
Just click on the DONATE box in the right upper corner of this page and follow the steps.
Thanks so much for your support.
