Why I'm gearing up for the fifth year in a row on the 75km Ride in Prince Edward County!
Every day 3 more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. We don’t know what causes MS and there is no cure, but your donation will fund leading-edge research and support programs for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Your support means families who are impacted by this often devastating disease do not have to face MS alone. I only came to know about multiple sclerosis when a friend was diagnosed with MS, and I came to realize how it affects not only those diagnosed with MS, but their families as well.
Your dollars at work
When you pledge me in the MS Bike, your funds are invested into groundbreaking MS research and services for the 100,000 Canadians living with MS. I'm aiming to raise over $3000 this year, which will be the most I've ever raised in a charity ride, and I would really appreciate your support to meet this goal. Thanks to the great support of my friends the last past two years, I was one of the top 25 of Fundraisers for this event, and I've seen great strides made in research and supports for those living with MS. I'm super excited to be riding with a team, Worst Pace Scenario, with a fabulous group of people riding to help create a more hopeful future for those affected by MS!
