Team Air Ambulance
Why we’re cycling to end MS
Having celebrated our 75th birthday, Saskatchewan Air Ambulance is one of the oldest civilian medivac services in North America. Our staff serves all of the people in Saskatchewan by providing medivac services for patients requiring transportation for medical treatment in a wide variety of medical (including MS) and trauma situations. Each crew combines the expertise of a highly trained Critical Care Registered Nurse and Paramedic, two highly experienced expert pilots and occasionally our very skilled transport physician. On the ground in our hangar in Saskatoon, we are also supported by Aeronautical Mechanical Engineers, administrative staff and managment. In our Beechcraft KingAir B200 planes, we transport patients from all corners of the province to higher levels of care within Saskatchewan and, when needed to, other provinces when care is not available here. As a group, we want to do our part to raise money and awareness to support MS research and help those living with MS.
Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. Every day three more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. We don’t know what causes MS and there is no cure.
Your support means Canadian families who are affected by this disease do not have to face MS alone.
Join us in the fight to end MS
Become a member of our team and spend the day with friends, family and colleagues, knowing that you are helping to end Canada’s disease.
If you aren't able to participate, donate to our team today to help us reach our goal. When you make a donation, your funds are invested into research to find the cause and cure for the disease, while providing services to Canadians with multiple sclerosis and their families.
