2012 VIGSA Skate for MS

The Vancouver Island Golf Superintendents Association (VIGSA) is one of 5 Regional Divisions that make up the British Columbia Golf Superintendents Association (BCGSA).  For more information on the BCGSA and what we do, please go to www.bcgsa.com.

As a group of members from the Vancouver Island Community with several families dealing with MS in their private family lives, a group of Golf Course Superintendents and Industry Representatives who play hockey together decided "we could do more".

In 2008 we held our first "event" and raised $ 7,600.  Since then we have continued to make changes turning this "we could do more" into an Event that people look forward to attending each year.

Since 2008, we have raised OVER $ 420,600!! 

2013 marks our 6th Annual MS Fundraising Event and our goal, with your help, is to raise over $150,000!!

On Saturday February 2, 2013 we are hosting two public events.  The first is a "family fun" Public Skate from 11 am to 1 pm at the Bear Mountain Arena.  Enjoy some family time with your kids, meet some friendly mascots and help raise awareness and support for MS.

Then, starting at 5 pm, we are hosting a "Charity Gala Banquet" at the Westin Bear Mountain Resort for $ 75.00 per person.  At the Gala Banquet you will enjoy a Silent Auction, Live Auction, Tierred Raffle as well as a 3 Course Dinner and Dancing!
