Let’s make an impact! In celebration of my 30th birthday, I'm fundraising to end multiple sclerosis (MS) - Canada's disease. Will you join me and make it known there’s #NoMSingWithApple?
Wait, who's Apple?
Given the nickname by her grandfather, my mom has been suffering from MS since 1989. She lost her vision and had to learn how to walk again as an adult. Despite this, she never lets MS stop her from being her best self. She frequently mentors other Chinese women suffering through MS (talk about female empowerment!). She is not only an inspiration to me, but to all of those battling MS.
Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the world, and I know that, together, we can change that. 100,000 Canadians live with MS. Living with multiple sclerosis means that one morning you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone.
How can I make an impact?
Your donation will fund research with three primary goals: to find a cause and cure for MS, repair nervous system damage caused by MS, and stop MS attacks. Proceeds from this campaign and others like it will also provide support and services to help those living with MS.
I am doing whatever it takes in the fight to end MS. Will you join me by making a donation?
