Let’s make an impact! To mark my journey to 30, I'm fundraising to end multiple sclerosis (MS) - Canada's disease. Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world; over 100,000 Canadians live with MS. Will you join me and make it known there’s #NoMSingWithApple?
Wait, who's Apple?
Given the nickname by her grandfather, my mom has been suffering from MS since 1989. She lost her vision and had to learn how to walk again as an adult. Despite this, she never lets MS stop her from being her best self. She frequently mentors other Chinese women suffering through MS (talk about female empowerment!). She is not only an inspiration to me, but to all of those battling MS.
Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the world, and I know that, together, we can change that. Living with multiple sclerosis means that one morning you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone.
How can I make an impact?
Your donation will fund research with three primary goals: to find a cause and cure for MS, repair nervous system damage caused by MS, and stop MS attacks. Proceeds from this campaign and others like it will also provide support and services to help those living with MS.
In 2014, my goal was to raise $2,500 by my 25th birthday. We ended up raising over $4,800 to end MS. In 2019, with your support, I want to exceed that.
I am doing whatever it takes in the fight to end MS. Will you join me by making a donation?
