On Saturday, May 2nd, a record number of nearly 600 people converged on Bud Miller Park for the 17th Annual Lloydminster Jayman Built MS Walk. The outpouring of spirit and community support was evident at every turn, with teams decked-out in costumes and representatives from Lloydminster RCMP and the Lloydminster Fire Department, as well as local, provincial and federal government on-site to show their commitment to our collective fight against MS.

We’d like to extend our sincerest thank-you to each and every participant, donor, sponsor, volunteer and community supporter who contributed to this year’s event – your efforts are responsible for the Walk’s tremendous success, and will truly help make a difference in the lives of people touched by MS.

To-date, the 2015 Lloydminster Jayman Built MS Walk has raised more than $140,000, with many more funds still anticipated – we’re hoping to reach the $175,000 mark. If you still have pledges to turn in, you’re welcome to bring them to the Lloydminster Chapter office any time. For those participants who ordered prizes, our office will connect with you once the prizes are available for pick-up, likely in late June.

On behalf of the MS Society, thank you so much for your outstanding dedication to the fight against MS.
