Multiple sclerosis can strike anyone at any moment, and Canadians have one of the highest rates of MS in the world. Joining MS Walk means being involved in a community that is driven to improve the lives of those affected by the disease. The funds you raise at MS Walk are invested in accelerating the pace of MS breakthroughs and empower people with MS to live their best lives.

Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. When you join MS Walk, you join our country’s collective effort to help improve the lives of Canadians affected by MS. The dollars you raise are invested in world-leading MS research happening right here in Canada. It’s an exciting time for MS research, and your fundraising will help improve the quality of life of Canadians affected by MS today, and those who may receive a diagnosis tomorrow.

On Sunday, June 9, 2019 join over 1,500 participants at the Jayman BUILT MS Walk in Calgary as they walk to end MS! Beginning at the main stage at Prince’s Island Park, you will walk along the picturesque Bow River pathways and, depending on the route length chosen, circle back over the Peace Bridge or 14th Street bridge. Rest stops with water, snacks and first aid will be provided along the way. Upon arriving back at Prince’s Island Park, experience a warm welcome by supporters followed by a delicious Cravings Market Restaurant lunch and live music by the Contraband to celebrate your accomplishments. You also won’t want to miss having your team photo taken, the famous face painting in the kids tent or meeting a University of Calgary MS Researcher at the Alberta MS Research information tent.

Bring your family and friends together to share in the start/finish-line activities, team awards ceremonies and amazing stories from people living with MS. We can’t wait to see you there!
