I am part of the MS Walk because I am very dedicated and excited to be participating in my 8th MS Walk and I believe we will end multiple sclerosis - with your help we can get there. Please give generously. Below is a poem I wrote in honor of my mother-in-law who lives with MS and was diagnosed at the ripe young age of 36. She will be 82 in July 2018.
I invite and challange all who visit my personal page to sponsor me $1 for every year my Dear Mother Rose has been living with MS for 46 years, come next year - 2018. Every $1 counts towards a cure, no matter how big or how small, together we will conquer and End MS. Thank you for your kind support in my quest to conguer and End MS for My Dear Mother Rose and all who have been touched and/or affected by such a debilatating disease. :) :) :) :)
This year is a milestone for me this year as I am participating in my 8th MS Walk and have raised just over $10,200.00 since my 1st MS Walk in 2011. With your kind support, I can and will surpass my goal of $5000.00 and I am determined to be one of the top 3 fundraisers and possibly be the #1 fundrasier for MY DEAR MOTHER ROSE - LOVE YOU MOTHER :) :) :) :)
My Dear Mother Rose
written by Judy Wyatt February 22, 2008
My dear Rose since we've met we used to dig in the garden,
since 24 years have passed we can no longer do your yarden.
Your spirit and your courage has inspired me to be,
part of a grand organization as a volunteer I am.
You also do by selling carnations and cakes at Christmas time
only when you're feeling good and knowing that you can.
You live your life to the fullest each day,
with not much else to say,
you thank the lord you're here today
and ask everyone to pray.
You carry on without a fuss, and I remember too,
how you used to bake for us, when we would come to see you.
Each time we come to visit, you smother us with glee,
your heart, your soul, your happiness is always sunny and free,
for we cherish every moment we come to see thee,
and you're the best darn mother-in-law that anyone can be.
So one last thought before we part, don't ever lose your heart,
as you're the best inspiration for anyone living with MS.
