My beautiful wife Barb has MS. For those of you unaware what MS is, it means that one morning she may not be able to walk when she wakes up. Or that she may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that her memory will fail her for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone. It's estimated that approximately 55,000-75,000 men and women in Canada have the disease, and every day about three more people are diagnosed.
MS may have slowed Barb down, but it hasn't stopped her. My wife is tough, brave, and resourceful. She will never stop fighting, never give up. But we do need your help. Every dollar donated to the MS Society helps to fund research and treatments. It also helps to provide the necessities for those with MS to make their daily lives a little easier. Please donate whatever you can. Even a small amount can go a long way.
I've registered for the MS Walk because I want to do something for everyone who lives with multiple sclerosis. With your help, together we can make a difference.
