Here we are again gearing up for the MS Walk in Collingwood. Thank you to all my family and friends who donated last year and each year since I started doing the MS Walk. With your help in 2018 I once again raised approximately $2,500 for the Walk and for the second year in a row I was the second highest team fundraiser. I didn't make the list for top individual fundraiser last year but I'll work toward it again this year.
2018 was another stressful year (big surprise) but I am working toward making it less stressful. It is very slow going but I'm working on it! The highlight of last year was the full production of The Sultry Katz Burlesque & Broadway Show that I put on with my partner Kelsie Kolo. The show was a success and we did it from start to finish in 7 months. I wrote it, directed it, choreographed it and produced it (with Kelsie) with minimal MS issues. The only MS symptom that was continual last year was my slowly degrading balance which has since rectified.
This year I'm walking for fun. I'm trying to do more things that I enjoy and that challenge my creativity. I love walking and the Collingwood MS Walk route is beautiful so I'm walking for the love of the walk.
If you would like to support someone you love who suffers from an autoimmunme disease please join my team; the MyeliniuMS. Any form of support would be incredibly appreciated, whether it be walking with us in Collingwood on May 6th, fundraising, providing a donation or just sending a "have a great walk" text/e-mail. Here's to the continued research into autoimmune disorders and one step further to a cure.
