I walk for my dad.
My dad was diagnosed with MS before I can even remember, meaning it was just a way of life for our family. My dad fought courageously for 16 years and somehow always made the positive out of everything - despite the fact he was losing control of his own body to the disease. I know what it is like to be so young (16 years old to be exact) and to lose a parent so I walk and raise money every year to change the face of this disease and help people and their families suffering from MS feel empowered to fight for the day that MS no longer affects our lives and no longer takes our loved ones. Please donate to honour my dad; my hero and my inspiration and to help us find a cure!
I have been able to personally raise over $30,000 for the MS Society over the years thanks to everyone's generous donations! I could not thank-you enough!
Every day 3 more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. We don’t know what causes MS and there is no cure, but I’m walking to help change lives beginning right where I live.
Your support means families in our community who are impacted by this often devastating disease do not have to face MS alone.
