Welcome to Squamish, the home of some of the greatest mountain biking in Canada. Situated in a valley with surrounding mountains, there are endless kilometers of mountain biking trails. From gentle cruises in the estuary and friendly cross country trails, to hair raising downhill descents, Squamish offers a huge variety of trails for mountain bikers of any experience level.
Serving up over 200 kilometers of single track, Mountain Bike Magazine rates Squamish as one of the top 25 wildest and most exotic places to ride in the world. Many areas in and around Squamish offer expansive networks of single track trails that take cross-country riders through the stream beds, woodlands and granite features of Squamish's West Coast forest. The gradual slopes, original rail track and occasional technical descents of Alice Lake’s trails are perfect for first-timers.
Riders in our inaugural Squamish Mountain Bike Challenge will have the choice of a novice or a more technically challenging route. All trails will be clearly marked for ease of completion along with our ever present tour leaders to help you along the way.
Increase your fun and create a team of family, friends and co-workers to tour Squamish with you! Caitlin McLeod, Corporate & Community Development Coordinator is ready to help!
