May 25, 2014, is the date of Quebec's 20th MS Walk! Together, let's lace up for people with multiple sclerosis.
By participating in the MS Walk for someone you love or for yourself, you're helping to finance the programs and services offered to people in your region with MS. For 20 years, your efforts during this unifying event have made it possible to create an exceptional Canadian network of MS researchers and to raise Canada to the ranks of the countries that are contributing the most to advances in MS research.
Nevertheless, important questions still remain unanswered about the cause, prevention, treatment and cure for MS. This unpredictable disease can affect vision, memory, balance and mobility, among other things. Continuing to support the MS Society is crucially important in inspiring hope in people with multiple sclerosis, and that's why your participation in the MS Walk is so important.
Every step matters… Let’s continue to walk to end MS!

"I'm delighted to be the Honorary Chair of the MS Walk for a second year. On May 25, 2014, I hope lots of you will lace up your runners and walk for the cause. Every step matters to advance research."
Thanks to all of you, Quebec’s MS Walks raised more than $1,287,000 in 2013, including $49,189 in Trois-Rivières. There were so many of you who enthusiastically and energetically raised the money that will fund advances in MS research. We would like to salute the efforts of Jacques Pronovost, champion fundraiser, the Les Zunicks team, champion fundraising team, and team las Esperanzas, champion recruiting team. They stood out in their communities as exceptional fundraisers. Congratulations to all of you!
